Hussman Center Information Meetings

The Hussman Center for Adults with Autism at Towson University offers Information Meetings for individuals who would like to learn more about the Hussman Center, including its mission, philosophy, and types of programs for adults with autism.    These meetings cover overview information about our group-based programs held at the Hussman Center, our Social Groups, and the College Orientation and Life Activities program (this program is specifically for Towson University students).  All programs have a fee.  The Information Meetings also address program-related financial assistance available to those who qualify for funding.

Our Information Meetings offer prospective program participants and Social Group attendees an opportunity to learn more about the Hussman Center’s offerings.

Parents and guardians of adults with autism; staff from agencies, transition programs, and schools; and other interested individuals are welcome to attend.

Please note that the following is the process for new Hussman Center program participants:

  1. Attend an Information Meeting
  2. If interested in enrolling in one or more programs, schedule an individual meeting with a staff member to discuss goals and programs of interest
  3. Initiate the program registration process

Hussman Center Information Meetings are offered at least once a month at the Hussman Center for Adults with Autism at Towson City Center, 1 Olympic Place, Towson, MD, 21204. To sign up for an Information Meeting, please visit our registration page at and select a date to attend. Or, you may request information about dates and times at

Our Information Meetings include a presentation about the Hussman Center’s overall focus, our program model, and brief descriptions of programs and our Social Group as well as a question-answer session and a tour of the Hussman Center program rooms.

Individuals considering registering for a January or Spring Hussman Center program and/or the Spring College Orientation & Life Activities (COLA) program for Towson University students are advised to register as soon as possible for an Information Meeting.

We also strongly encourage all individuals who are interested in attending our Social Groups to attend an Information Meeting prior to attending a Social Group (note that ALL individuals must RSVP to attend a Social Group event).
