Occupational therapists work (and play) with children to improve purposeful engagement in life activities (or occupations) in the areas of self care, play, social participation and school.  We offer evaluations and individual treatment targeting performance skills such as motor coordination, visual perception, sensory processing, self regulation, social interaction and oral motor and feeding needs.

This weekly program provides an opportunity for caregivers to participate in therapy interventions with their child. Interventions focus on the development of fine and gross motor skills, sensorimotor skills, speech and language skills, and the wellness of each child. Each session includes caregiver-child therapy activities and educational training on a variety of topics. This is a collaborative program with the Speech & Language Center.

Children’s Therapeutic Program for preschoolers ages 3-6

This morning program is designed for 3 to 6 year old children and offers both speech-language and occupational therapies in a therapeutic rich social and play environment. This collaborative approach provides the child with opportunities to enhance speech, language, motor and life skills development.  Children participate in circle time, story time, craft activities, gross/fine motor activities, playground time, and snack.  Each child has an individualized speech and occupational therapy treatment plan to target specific needs.
