Congrats to our new TU graduates

TU welcomed over 2,300 new alumni during Winter Commencement

Towson University welcomed 2,301 new alumni with pomp and circumstance during the 2018 Winter Commencement ceremonies on Dec. 19-20 at SECU Arena.

Ceremonies began Wednesday morning with the students of the College of Business and Economics and the College of Health Professions walking across the stage. In the afternoon, students from the Fisher College of Science and Mathematics and the College of Liberal Arts turned their cap tassels.  

On Thursday morning, the spotlight turned to the students of the College of Education and the College of Fine Arts and Communication in the year’s final Commencement ceremony.

Winter Commencement honors graduates from both the 2018 summer and fall semesters. The College of Liberal Arts has the most students graduating (579), while the College of Business and Economics (558), the College of Health Professions (515) and the Fisher College of Science and Mathematics (413) will honor over 400 graduates during their ceremonies. The College of Education will hand out the most graduate degrees (149), followed by the College of Health Professions (120).
