TU President Kim Schatzel

Towson University President Kim Schatzel will deliver her fall address to the campus community on Thursday, Oct. 18.

President Schatzel will speak to an audience assembled at the Harold J. Kaplan Concert Hall in the Center for the Arts. While the address will not be live-streamed, the entire campus community is invited to join in the event, which begins at 4 p.m. The venue seats approximately 500 spectators.

In the past, President Schatzel has utilized the presidential addresses to share key messages and in some cases big news with the community.

Guests can expect some news this year, too.

This is the first time that the address will be held in the Kaplan Concert Hall, which will allow a larger audience from the campus community. Traditionally, the address is held in Stephens Hall, but due to construction of the new science complex, the venue has been changed for this year's address.
