‘We have no shortage of excellence here at TU’

Towson University Office of the Provost announces 2019–20 Diversity and Inclusion Faculty Fellows.

Towson University is committed to providing a campus climate built on respect, civility, equity and inclusion that cultivates the intellectual and personal growth of the entire TU community.

It is in that spirit that the Office of the Provost announces the 2019–20 Diversity and Inclusion Faculty Fellows.

“Selecting faculty as Diversity & Inclusion Faculty Fellows was an extremely difficult process for our committee. Every application was intriguing, relevant, cutting edge, and rigorous,” says Shaunna Payne Gold, assistant provost for diversity and inclusion. “Hopefully, the award and the year-long cohort experience will be a major highlight of these scholars’ careers for many years to come. We have no shortage of excellence here at TU.”

This program provides selected faculty with opportunities to infuse diversity and inclusion into existing curriculum, create models to improve classroom dynamics in support of social justice and/or identify strategies to enhance institutional practices.
