Savoca will oversee financial operations for the health system’s more than 160 programs and 350 service sites, according to a Sheppard Pratt news release.

This promotion is the next iteration in Savoca’s career at Sheppard Pratt. She has spent the last 16 years serving as a controller and financial analyst. Previously, she held a position in wealth management and accounting at Legg Mason.

Savoca earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance in 2000.

"Kelly's strong financial acumen and knowledge of the complex health care environment in Maryland are incredible assets to our organization," says Harsh K. Trivedi, president and CEO of Sheppard Pratt. "Her firm understanding of our health system as well as the changing payment models in today's health care landscape will help propel our organization's continued growth."

This story is one of several related to President Kim Schatzel’s priorities for Towson University: TU Matters to Maryland.
