The Towson Trills are headed back to Broadway

For the second time, TU-based a capella group will perform in the International Championship of A Capella Finals.

The Towson Trills, a Towson University based a capella group, will compete in the Varsity Vocals’ International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) Finals

The Towson Trills are ready to take the Big Apple by storm, as they are going back to Broadway!

For the second-time in three years, the Towson University based a capella group will compete in the Varsity Vocals’ International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) Finals

The Trills will now compete in the ICCA finals this Saturday, inside the PlayStation Theater on Broadway. There they will face off against nine of the best a capella groups in the world.

The Trills earned the trip to New York after winning first place at the ICCA Mid-Atlantic Region semifinals at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, Delaware. Along with winning first place, the Trills also won the award for Outstanding Arrangement.

This is the second time the seven-piece ensemble has performed in the ICCA Finals, with the first coming back in 2017.
