2022 Maryland General Assembly has 13 TU alums as members

Maryland General Assembly starts in Annapolis January 12

As the 2022 Maryland General Assembly convenes this week in Annapolis, Towson University will be well represented. The legislative session begins Jan. 12 and will continue through April 22. 

The session has 13 alums working on behalf of Maryland's residents.

In the Senate


Pam Beidle ’94 has been member of the Senate since 2019. She represents District 32 in Anne Arundel County. 

Sarah Elfreth ’10 was elected for the first time in November 2018, representing District 30 of Anne Arundel County. 

Michael Hough ’07 has been a member of the Senate since 2015 and represents District 4. He was in the House of Delegates from 2011 to 2015 before being elected to the Senate.

Heather Bagnall ’96 was elected for the first time in 2018, serving District 33. 

Regina Boyce ’98 was elected to office for the first time in 2018, representing District 43. 

Tony Bridges ’02 was elected to the office for the first time in 2019, serving District 41. 

Dana Jones ’98 was appointed to office for the first time in 2020 and represents District 30A. 

Ken Kerr ’95 was elected to office for the first time in 2018, serving District 3B. 

Susan Krebs ’81 was first elected to office in 2003 and represents District 5. 

Nino Mangione ’09 was elected to office in 2018. He represents District 42B. 

Kathy Szeliga ’94 was first elected to office in 2010 and represents District 7. 

Pat Young ’10 assumed office in 2015 and represents District 44B
