With so many smiling kids around, it’s tough for Deborah Greengold ’19 to have a bad day at work. An English major at TU, she worked as a preschool teacher before becoming the associate director of marketing and communications at Port Discovery Children’s Museum in Baltimore.

Her job responsibilities include running the museum’s website and social media and connecting Port Discovery to the community. As part of that, she takes photos of the museum’s little visitors. It’s not very hard finding a kid to photograph who’s having a blast.

I see families who are here for the first time and families who come back as a tradition. Working here allows me to show the public the magic of learning through play.
