Roodinz Vital loves his job.

As director of Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) at Towson University, Vital gets a front-row seat to watch students grow and become leaders.

“Greek Life offers countless opportunities for personal growth and becoming a better version of yourself,” Vital says. “Even years later, I’ll hear from alumni who share how a project or situation they navigated as a Greek Life leader in undergrad has stayed with them, helping them well into their careers.”

More than 900 students are members of organizations within the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life at TU. These students get memorable social experiences, long-lasting friendships, leadership training, academic support and opportunities to make an impact at TU and in the local community.

Greek Life offers countless opportunities for personal growth and becoming a better version of yourself.

Vital says it’s an honor to watch them grow and become mentors themselves for the next generation of Greek Life.

“Connecting with a student early on as a potential new member and then seeing them graduate as a former chapter executive leader is a proud moment for me,” Vital says. “Watching students grow individually and then turn around to nurture the development of other leaders is what Greek Life is all about. It’s about creating a legacy and supporting the transformation of both self and others.”

Dominic Bosco

Theta Chi Fraternity

Dominic Bosco ’25

Senior applied mathematics major from Huntington, New York

“Towson University has truly become my home over the last four years, and a big reason for that is Theta Chi and Greek Life. As a 17-year-old freshman who didn’t know a single person in the state, adjusting to college life away from home for the first time was overwhelming. Greek Life provided me with a sense of community and guidance, especially from upperclassmen who helped me navigate this new environment. It’s given me lifelong friendships—my future groomsmen—along with invaluable academic support, professional connections, job opportunities and countless unforgettable memories.”

Naomi Andrew

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc

Naomi Andrew ’26

Junior public health major from Columbia, Maryland

“My time at Towson has been greatly improved by Greek Life. I now have a solid support system, lasting connection and a network of individuals that inspire me to achieve. In ways I wouldn't have otherwise, I've been able to plan charitable events, take leadership roles and give back to the community. Also, it has helped in the development of time management and teamwork skills that I use daily as a student and outside of academics.”

Bryce Lewis

Kappa Kappa Psi and Phi Mu Alpha

Bryce Lewis ’25

Senior political science major from Waldorf, Maryland

Greek Life has changed my life in many ways. If it wasn’t for that, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with people that have common interests. I'm honored also by the FSL staff of Roodinz, Victoria, Sequoia and Wynter being great influences on my journey as a member of this community. Their leadership is what keeps me so motivated to immerse myself and be a representative to the Greek Life student population."

Allie Evans

Kappa Delta Sorority

Allie Evans ’25

Senior elementary education major from Annapolis, Maryland

“Greek Life has impacted my time at TU by giving me countless opportunities. I have had the chance to improve my leadership skills by serving in leadership roles such as vice president of events and programming and chapter president.

I have had the chance to connect with chapter members and alumni across the country, allowing me to build personal and professional relationships. I have had the chance to get more involved on campus by participating in campus events such as Greek Week. I have had the chance to give back to my community by working with my chapter's philanthropies. I have met lifelong friends, without whom my time at TU would have been much different.

I found my people at Towson University and have continued growing alongside them.”
