The Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT) has recognized Towson University President Mark Ginsberg with its June E. Streckfus Leadership in Education Partnerships Award. The award recognizes one individual annually who demonstrates excellence in fostering partnerships between business and education leaders.
Since beginning his tenure as president in 2023, Ginsberg has supported more than 100 MBRT student campus tours, contributed to the roundtable’s 2024 annual meeting and championed the relocation of MBRT’s headquarters to Towson. He also supported the appointment of Vernon Hurte, senior vice president for student affairs and university life, to MBRT’s Board of Directors.
