Newell Dining Hall is closed for the remainder of the fall semester following a plumbing issue that impacted the building on Tuesday, Dec. 2.

Facilities employees are actively performing repairs and assessing the building to understand the scope of the issue. Additional updates and information on repair timelines will be shared through TU Today as available.

We appreciate the campus community’s understanding as we work to resolve the issue. The Glen and West Village dining halls remain open for students, faculty and staff. À la carte options are also available nearby, including Au Bon Pain in Hawkins Hall and a range of options in the University Union.

Kosher food can be requested by contacting to discuss your specific needs. Halal food is available at the Glen Dining Hall and The Halal Shack in the University Union. Reach out to Tiger Hospitality for questions about the options available.
