TU has launched a new interactive campus map that makes it easier for students, faculty, staff and visitors to navigate campus. Introduced earlier this month, the map provides greater detail and new features designed to simplify place-finding.

It includes an embedded search tool that helps users quickly locate campus departments, buildings and garages, then access walking or driving directions to their destinations. Users can click or tap on any building to view a list of offices and amenities located inside, including all-gender restrooms and lactation rooms. Students, faculty and staff can also create and share direct links to specific buildings to help visitors navigate more easily.

The map can be used to find convenient parking options—including visitor parking, loading spaces and electric vehicle charging stations—as well as shuttle stops and routes. Accessibility information is also available, including the locations of exterior stairs and entrances with powered accessibility doors. A menu allows users to toggle map features on or off based on their needs.

Optimized for mobile devices, the interactive map connects to Google Maps for step-by-step, location-based directions. It was built by TU’s Center for Geographic Information Sciences (CGIS) and is available at maps.towson.edu.
