New partnership with Every Collegiate expands inclusive clothing options
Online apparel collection offers traditional and adaptive TU-branded clothing, with a portion of every purchase supporting TU’s Accessibility and Disability Services
Towson University today announced a new partnership with Every Collegiate™, a first-of-its-kind collegiate apparel brand that offers traditional and adaptive clothing side by side, ensuring students, alumni, faculty, staff, families and fans of all abilities can showcase their Tiger pride.
The new Towson University collection features officially licensed apparel designed to make school spirit more accessible and inclusive for everyone. In addition, a portion of every purchase will directly support TU’s Accessibility and Disability Services (ADS), helping advance programs, resources and initiatives that foster access and belonging across campus.
Founded by Mo Gerhardt, a two-time Michigan State University alumnus who later spent more than 15 years working on campus and lives with limb-girdle muscular dystrophy, Every Collegiate was created to address a longstanding gap in collegiate apparel.
“For me, Every Collegiate has never been just about creating adaptive apparel, it’s about making sure people with disabilities are included in the same traditions and experiences as everyone else,” says Gerhardt. “Towson University understood that vision from the beginning. By putting traditional and adaptive apparel side by side and using this partnership to directly support accessibility on campus, we’re showing what truly inclusive school spirit can look like. Every Tiger deserves the opportunity to show their Towson pride.”
Every Collegiate apparel incorporates thoughtful adaptive features such as magnetic or Velcro closures, designs that simplify overhead dressing and garments better suited for seated wear or dressing assistance. The apparel is designed so adaptive options offer the same look, quality and school identity as traditional styles.
The partnership reflects TU’s commitment to creating an inclusive campus environment where all members of the community feel seen, valued and connected.
“This partnership is about much more than clothing. I think it reflects a shift from thinking about accessibility as something we provide in response to a need to embracing it as a value we build into our community from the start," says Robyn McCray, director of Accessibility and Disability Services. “By making adaptive and traditional apparel available side by side, we create a greater sense of belonging and send a powerful message that every member of the Tiger community is seen, valued and included.”
The launch comes as Every Collegiate continues expanding its inclusive model to universities across the country. By bringing adaptive and traditional apparel together under one brand, the company aims to redefine what accessibility and representation look like in collegiate merchandise.
TU students, faculty, staff, alumni and supporters can explore the collection and purchase apparel at Every Collegiate’s TU shop.
