TU professor awarded prestigious accolade from NASA
Beth Kautzman honored with one of organization’s highest team awards for exceptional scientific endeavors
Chemistry professor Beth Kautzman is part of a team of researchers that received the NASA Group Achievement Award. This honor is one of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) highest accolades, awarded only to those who have made exceptional contributions to NASA’s mission and national scientific endeavors.
Kautzman is a member of the Atmospheric Emissions and Reactions Observed from Megacities to Marine Areas or AEROMMA.
Combining airborne, ground and satellite systems with advanced air quality and climate models, AEROMMA addresses North America’s emerging research needs in urban air quality, atmospheric interactions, marine emissions, satellite observations and climate change.
This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication and remarkable achievements of the AEROMMA team as well as their important accomplishments made in the field
