TU invites all members of the campus and broader community to join us for a summer movie night Sat., Aug. 1 at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium®. Take the unique opportunity to spend time directly on the stadium field as you watch Zootopia 2 and enjoy free pizza, popcorn, ice cream, meet and greets with Doc and more.

Additional details on parking, seating, more entertainment and food are below. The event was initially scheduled for July 17 but moved to Aug. 1 due to air quality concerns.

Movie Night Details

  • Date: Sat., Aug. 1; gates open at 6 p.m., movie starts at 7 p.m.
  • Location: Johnny Unitas Stadium Field; free parking in lots 4, 5 and 6; follow signage to enter through the lower access gate near lot 6 on Auburn Drive.
  • Food: Free ice cream, popcorn and Ledo's pizza (while supplies last) and water.
  • Entertainment: A showing of Zootopia 2, plus face painters, balloon artists and a bounce house. 
  • What to Bring: Blankets and towels to sit on the field or chairs to sit on the track. The stadium stands will also be open for seating. Outside food is allowed. 
  • Show your Support: Please bring a non-perishable food donation to support the TU Basic Needs Hub.
