While summer often provides time to recharge, that doesn’t mean things are slow around Towson University. Our campus remains busy thanks to the dedication of our staff, faculty and students who advance our mission year-round.

Many members of our university have been hard at work since the academic year ended, helping TU to remain a hub for community, connection and learning. In the last month alone, TU has hosted 24 Baltimore County high school graduation ceremonies and once again welcomed athletes, coaches and families from across the state for the Maryland Special Olympics Summer Games.

Summer classes are keeping many engaged in their academic pursuits, and creative Summer at the Center programming has entertained hundreds of guests. We’ve also kicked off new student orientation, where thousands of incoming Tigers will get a first glimpse of the opportunities and life-changing experiences that await them at TU.
