Position

Towson University’s College of Business and Economics invites applications for a tenure-track entry-level Assistant Professor position in in the Department of Management beginning August 2020.

Qualifications

PhD in Strategy, International Business, Management, or Business Administration from an AACSB-accredited institution. ABDs with expected graduation date no later than Feb 1, 2021, will be considered. Applicants will need to demonstrate potential for strong research, excellent teaching, and service aligned with the college’s expected outcomes of impact, innovation, and engagement.

Responsibilities

Faculty member will be assigned a teaching workload of six (6) courses per academic year in strategy and international business area, such as Business Policy & Strategic Management, International Business Theory and Practice, International Entrepreneurship, and Leading across International Cultures. Faculty member is expected to have a technology focus in teaching, and pursue research leading to refereed journal publications in the field of management. Faculty member is expected to engage in service to the department, college, university, community, and professional associations. The successful candidate will join a department that is committed to scholarly productivity, students’ excellence, and innovative and technology focused experiential teaching.
