Students applying for Towson Undergraduate or Graduate Admissions do not need to request an official transcript from Towson University as part of their admission process. Your official transcript from TU will be obtained internally.
You are now able to request your transcript be sent to AMCAS using Parchment. Simply enter AMCAS in the Institution Name section and click search. You must have your AAMC ID and AAMC Transcript ID available when you place your order. Fee applies.
Using Towson Online Services current students can view their unofficial transcript and request their official paper transcript at no cost. For institutions or agencies that accept electronic transmissions of transcripts, you can now select Parchment Electronic Transcript from the Student Center in Towson Online Services. The charge for an electronic transcript sent via Parchment Exchange is $8.00. This service can also accommodate attachments.
Students have access to Towson Online Services/PeopleSoft for 18 months after attendance. NetID and password are required for log in.
Students who were part of the joint MBA program between the two institutions that ran from 2006 through 2018 should request their transcripts from the University of Baltimore. All student data, course records and degrees are held in the University of Baltimore’s student data system and do not exist in TU’s student data system.
Towson University has authorized Parchment Exchange as our third party vendor to provide official transcripts in paper format ONLY to former Baltimore Hebrew University (BHU) students. The cost is $10 for a paper transcript.
We no longer accept Towson University Transcript Request Forms. Towson University has authorized Parchment Exchange to provide official transcripts in electronic or paper format. The cost is $8.00 for an electronic transcript and $10 for a paper transcript.
If you are a first time user of Parchment Exchange, you will need to set up an account. The following information will be required to ensure proper student matching:
While electronic transcripts are widely accepted, confirm with your recipients that they will accept this format before ordering. An electronic (secure, certified PDF) transcript is “official” in its electronic form as long as it is not altered. Each time the file is opened, it will be certified electronically (internet connection required) to ensure that it has not been altered. A printed copy of a PDF transcript is not official.
Sending an attachment is now available.
The attachment will be enclosed in the same envelope with the transcript and must have the following characteristics:
A paper transcript is “official” only as long as it remains in its sealed envelope. Do not open the sealed envelope if you are forwarding the document to another party (an institution, employer or other person). Open the envelope only if you have ordered the transcript for personal use.
Most institutions require an official transcript to be sent from institution to institution, however there may be times when a hand carried official transcript is acceptable. Towson University offers a rush processing service during regular business hours. Students should come in person to the Enrollment Services Center, Room 223. The cost is $10 per transcript which can be paid by cash, check, money order or credit card* to Towson University. *Credit Cards not accepted BEFORE 8:30 a.m. or AFTER 4 p.m.
