Political Engagement

Residents of the Political Engagement Community will create connections with members of the Towson University community who share an enthusiasm for civic engagement. Students will be given the opportunity to pursue their passions of active citizenship, community involvement, awareness of social issues and injustices, advocacy, and the development of personal and social responsibility. Students will learn about social issues and how to address them through goal setting and active citizenship. This community is aimed at assisting students to learn about their civic responsibility and ways they can participate in all communities to make a positive impact on the world. This community is a partnership with the Office of Civic Engagement & Social Responsibility and Housing & Residence Life.
