The community is open to incoming and returning students who have 30 or fewer credits at the end of Fall 2016.
No, Global Village is open to all students that meet the eligibility requirements. We do our best to pair International and Domestic students together as roommates in Global Village.
- Current residents: Applications will be available in Spring 2017.
- New students interested in Global Village must complete the online housing request process. This
includes paying a $350 non-refundable housing deposit and agreeing to the terms and
conditions of the housing contract. During the online process students will be able
to identify interest in Global Village. Residents are selected for the community based
on the completion of the eligibility requirements listed above.

The community will have three Resident Assistants, multiple Liaisons and Role Models, and an International Student Scholar Office (ISSO) Graduate Student. Additionally, there will be support from the International Student Scholar Office, the International Student Association, and Housing & Residence Life.
Through the online housing request process there will be an opportunity to complete a special accommodation request.
Student rooms are suite style, (i.e., two double rooms sharing a bath). During the fall semester, tripled rooms are located in this community, so there is a potential for a room with three roommates
International Housing has existed at Towson University since prior to 1997. In 2010 the name was changed to Global Village. In Fall 2016 Global Village moved to Tower D.
