Approximately 30 percent of college students lack reliable access to sufficient quantities of affordable, nutritious food.
Food Insecurity & FoodShare Programs
The FoodShare program provides weekly bags of food to address the needs of students, faculty, and staff experiencing food insecurity. Those accessing the pantry must show their OneCard before entering and complete a sign-out form before leaving. Students, faculty and staff may receive up to 10 items per week when TU is in session. Bring your own reusable bag or receive a plastic grocery bag for your items.

Main Campus
Location: The CLA Annex. This is the white trailer that is located directly next to the Towsontowne garage and The Residence Tower. Please view the reference photo below.
Hours: Monday through Thursday from 10 am - 6 pm. The FoodShare will not have open hours over university breaks and holidays. If you are in need of assistance during these times, please place an order for remote pick-up.

Remote Pick-up Option
PLEASE NOTE: We are experiencing high volumes of requests and orders may take longer than 2 business days to fulfill. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Students, faculty and staff who prefer not to visit the pantry can request remote pick-up for as many as 10 items per week. Items will be available for pick-up at the green FoodShare donation bin on the second floor of the University Union. An email will be sent when items are ready for pick-up. Email foodshare AT_TOWSON with any questions or concerns.
How to Help
Donations
If you would like to donate food, personal care items, or home cleaning items to the FoodShare, please drop them off in one of our donation bins or visit us during open hours. Donation bins can be found on the first floor of the Health and Counseling Centers and on the second floor of the University Union. Monetary donations can be made on the Giving site. For larger donations, please schedule a visit by emailing foodshare AT_TOWSON.
Host a Food Drive
If you'd like to host a food drive to benefit the FoodShare, please fill out a Drive Request Form. Please note that your request may be accepted, denied or altered based on the needs of the FoodShare. We recommend filling out the form in advance to ensure the days your organization would like to host a drive is available.
