Style Guides

Presenting a strong and consistent image is important to Towson University's reputation. You can help promote the university's image by adhering to established university styles.

For textual content, Towson University follows the Associated Press (AP) Stylebook and defers to the Chicago Manual of Style for issues not ruled upon by AP.

The Division of Marketing and Communications also uses the following style guides for design, web publishing and for social media best practices:
