Analytics & Reports

Analytics and other reports provide valuable information to help you maintain a useful and relevant website.

Google Analytics Reports

Analytics reports provide information about website usage. This data can be helpful in determining if your pages and content are relevant and structured in a way that helps website visitors find what they need and complete their tasks.

There are two ways to access Google Analytics for your webpages.

Analytics Gadget in Modern Campus CMS

Modern Campus CMS provides access to Google Analytics with the Page Analytics Gadget. View the training document, Viewing and Interpreting Site Analytics (PDF), for enabling and using this view within Modern Campus CMS.

Broken Links Reports

A report within Modern Campus CMS is run monthly to provide information about broken links on university webpages. If one or more of your webpages contains broken links, your website’s content owner will be emailed a broken links report, which lists the broken links and the pages containing them. Your content owner will be asked to remove or update these broken links as soon as possible.

Accessibility Reports

Content on the university website is regularly audited to ensure compliance with section 508 guidelines and to remediate any issues. If your website contains accessibility issues, your content owner will receive a report which lists the accessibility issues.
