Mature/Non-traditional Students

Program Overview

Towson understands that a college degree is an important part of increasing your and your family's financial stability. However, it can be challenging to maintain a job, an education, and a family. As older students, Towson University is committed to your success and is currently working to increase the amount of support services specifically tailored to your needs.

What is a non-traditional student?

Non-Traditional students can fit into many categories:

  • Those over the age of 23
  • Parents (Or individuals with other dependents)
  • Students returning to college after a break in education
  • Veteran Students
  • Students working a full-time job while they take courses

Whatever the reason, you've made the choice to return to college for your degree and we would like to make life at Towson as easy as possible for you. Here are some of the resources we offer, keep checking this page for additional information.
