TU lights Stephens Hall purple ahead of Ravens playoff game
The iconic building at Towson University will have a purple hue as the Ravens begin NFL playoff action.

Stephens Hall took on a slightly different shade Friday, as Towson University joined the rest of Greater Baltimore in supporting the Ravens at the onset of the NFL postseason.
The iconic building along York Road was illuminated purple Friday in support of the team.
The Ravens host the L.A. Chargers on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. On Friday, TU representatives were on hand as a Ravens rally caravan made its way through Baltimore County.
Doc the Tiger joined in the fun at Patriot Plaza in uptown Towson, helping new County Executive Johnny Olszewski and other community members welcome Poe — the Ravens mascot — as well as members of the organization and the team's cheerleaders.

The Ravens' participation isn't the only thing for the Towson community to be watching for in the NFL Playoffs.
Towson Tigers football alum Jermon Bushrod and the New Orleans Saints are the NFC's top-seeded team. Last month, Bushrod was named his team's Ed Block Courage Award winner.
