Celebrating a legacy
A look back at an unforgettable evening honoring Dr. Nancy Grasmick and five years of leadership impact
Hundreds of leaders from across the region gathered at Towson University for the Heart of Leadership Celebration, a remarkable evening marking the fifth anniversary of the Dr. Nancy Grasmick Leadership Institute. The event honored the Grasmick Institute's founder and visionary, Dr. Nancy Grasmick, whose decades of service, resilience and unwavering commitment to others have helped shape communities, organizations and future leaders throughout Maryland.
The celebration featured the presentation of the Heart of Leadership Awards, a memorable fireside chat with Baltimore Orioles owner David Rubenstein, and the premiere of a documentary. More than a reflection on one extraordinary leader, the film captures the values that have defined Dr. Grasmick's legacy: heart, courage, integrity, determination and a deep belief in the power of leadership to transform lives.
