President's Newsletter
Supporting TU's Future
In his April newsletter, President Ginsberg talks about the importance of philanthropy and the Big Give.
Tomorrow is our eighth annual Big Give, an opportunity for the entire TU community to come together in support of our students and the future we are building together.
Philanthropy is a cornerstone of our university. It fuels our mission and helps ensure that every student has the resources they need to succeed. Faculty and staff contributions, no matter how sizeable, make a tremendous difference in this effort.
Last year, we celebrated the most successful single day of giving in our university’s history. Tomorrow, we aim to build on that momentum and make an even greater impact.
I ask that you please consider giving to one of the many wonderful causes available—from scholarships and emergency funds to the Basic Needs Hub, each of our academic colleges and other programming like experiential learning opportunities, research initiatives, creative and fine arts, athletics and resources that support community well-being. Every gift strengthens our ability to elevate TU and deliver on our promise as an engine of opportunity for our students and for all of Maryland.
Thank you for all that you do for our university community each and every day.
All the best,
Mark R. Ginsberg, Ph.D.
President
