Last week concluded first-year orientation sessions, which brought more than 3,100 new tigers to campus for their official introduction to TU. As we enter the final stretch of summer, faculty and staff continue preparations for the new academic year. Concurrently, work is ongoing to complete campus improvements and put the finishing touches on everything that ensures a successful start to the semester.

As we count down the days until Move-In week and the return of students, I am grateful for the year-round care you bring to our university community. To express our appreciation, the executive leadership team has announced an administrative leave day on Friday, August 7, which we hope you can use to rest and recharge in preparation for the upcoming academic year.
