Ken Buch is an executive coach, leadership and organizational development consultant, and facilitator. Ken has elevated client experiences for four decades, facilitating thousands of training and coaching sessions. Ken served as an adjunct faculty presenter for the University of Maryland, Office of Executive Programs—Smith School of Business, 2014–2020. As an executive coach and coaching program advisor in a leadership development program for the largest law enforcement agency in the country that won the 2016 DHS Human Capital Award for Professional Excellence in Learning and Development, Ken supported 19 cohorts coaching 76 GS-15’s/SES’s. He’s worked with 31 AMR leadership cohort programs to support a DOD intelligence agency, coaching 128 GS-13’s to GS-15’s, DISL’s and DISES’s. Ken volunteers as a mentor for Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Program in Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Leadership (cohort 45 to present-cohort 67).

Ken values the privilege to be in service to clients who seek to raise their awareness, ability to connect, trust and acquire knowledge and skills to lead others at the next level. Coaching offers opportunities to enhance insights that lead to desired outcomes. Ken facilitates conversations that involve leaders becoming fully functional human beings. He introduces custom techniques to build leadership capacity considering personal preferences, neuroscience, organizational and systems orientation tools and methodologies involving various change models to elevate energy in client organizations. Clients challenged by low trust and derailing dysfunction grow through experiential learning.

A coaching client led an enterprise wide project in which she attributed her success to insights gained and actions taken from transformational shifts as she synthesized key learning and made wiser choices through her coaching partnership. The project, sponsored by agency leadership with 700k employees, set an industry world record 10.4 billion dollars awarded to secure an international vendor in order to successfully serve millions of global clients.

Ken’s has coached over 600 leaders, exceeding 90+ Senior Executive Service (SES) and executive leaders in over 100 client organizations, co-creating successful outcomes to meet individual and organizational needs.
