TU Abroad and its partners offer 12 different options to study abroad in Ecuador.

“This journey has been easily the best part of my short life. I’m grateful for every part of the experience.”

Mass communication major Tiera Lee studied on the communication and global competence program with professor Carol Norton during summer 2019. While Lee faced some struggles, she found her time in Barcelona valuable and inspiring.

Faculty-led study abroad programs are among the most popular experiences TU Abroad offers but they are by no means students’ only option.

Learn more about all the types of programs offered at the Fall Study Abroad Fair on Thursday, Sept. 5 from 10 a.m.—2 p.m. in the University Union second floor lobby.

Attendees will learn how they can earn academic credit toward their major, minor, core, and elective requirements. They will meet study abroad program providers, Towson faculty-led program directors, former study abroad participants, and Study Abroad Office peer advisers and staff. All attendees will receive a free t-shirt (while supplies last).

In addition to faculty-led programs, TU students can participate in exchanges; minimester, summer, semester or year-long programs or in approved, non-TU programs. Additionally, if students can’t find an approved program that fits your academic or financial requirements, they can petition for approval to participate in an alternate program.

Check out all the programs available through TU Abroad in more than 60 countries.
