TU four-peats as best college, wins best professor in ‘Sun’ poll

"Baltimore Sun” readers have voted Towson University as the region’s best college or university for the fourth year in a row, in a poll by the newspaper. The same poll saw College of Education lecturer and university supervisor Gina Laupert voted best professor in the region.

“Sun” readers named TU the top college in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

TU’s academic excellence, innovative research and creative activities happen within a community where all students achieve inclusively. The diversity of the student body is a strength that enriches the learning environment with varied backgrounds and prepares students to lead in a global environment.

TU was recently named to the “Money Magazine” Best Colleges in America by Value list.  The university also ranked No. 30 in the northeast region on the “Washington Monthly” 2021 Best Bang for the Buck list—the highest-ranking university in Maryland.
