Summer Semester & Academic Year Breaks Alternative Options
Campus shuttles will have an abbreviated schedule during over Winter Session and the summer. Campus shuttles will not be in operation when the university is closed for a holiday or inclement weather. When campus shuttles operate on an abbreviated schedule during the summer or over breaks, for those TU students, faculty, and staff who utilize the shuttle services, Parking & Transportation Services offers other options which include: utilizing other Alternative Transportation Program, purchasing a pro-rated annual permit, or purchasing a weekly or monthly permit (NO REFUNDS).
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, the primary concern is the safety of the campus community. Shuttles will not operate if the university is closed due to inclement weather. If the university opens late, every effort will be made to start operating shuttles one hour prior to the announced late opening time. If the university closes early, shuttles will operate for up to one hour after the official closing time provided it remains safe to do so. If department management determines it is unsafe to operate shuttles, service will be discontinued whether or not the university is open.
Please monitor Nextbus.com for notifications about shuttle service during inclement weather.
