Freshman Transition Program
The Freshman Transition Program (FTP) is a partnership between Towson University and the Community College of Baltimore County. Students in the FTP take Community College of Baltimore County courses taught by CCBC faculty on TU's main campus, live in TU residence halls and receive the same support services as TU students.
After successful completion of the FTP, students have a seamless transition into Towson University and transfer their CCBC credits to TU.
The program was last offered to students who applied for the Fall 2025 term and will not be offered to future cohorts.
