Swap a Class

  • Swapping a class is available during the Change of Schedule period.

Important to Note:

Students enrolled in another section of the same class or has a time conflict with the waitlisted class:

  • Swap the enrolled or conflicting class using "swap" with the closed section, choosing the waitlist option. The system will automatically swap the classes once space is available.
  • Using "Waitlist" instead of "Swap" - the system sees you are already enrolled in a different section of the same class & will prevent you from being enrolled.

Please reference the Waitlist a Class using Swap (pdf) guide for  more detail.

These screen shots will guide you through the process of waitlisting a class using "swap".

Withdrawing after the deadline requires a letter of appeal to the Academic Standards Committee.

Dropping below full time status may affect your financial aid and/or your insurance coverage.
