About Us
What is the purpose of University Residence Government?
- Serve as the representative governing body/ voice of Towson University residents
- Advocate/Initiate change on behalf of resident students.
- Enhance the resident experience and subsequently serve to benefit the entire campus community and greater Towson area.
- Create, plan and promote programs that engage and excite the Resident community.
URG is a group of enthusiastic individuals working together to instill Towson pride and community throughout the residence halls.
What is a Building Council?
A group of residents within a building that work together to create a community where they live. This group meets weekly and becomes the pulse of their respective residence hall. Through collaborative programming, innovative ideas and a lot of laughter, this council creates a welcoming home in every hall. Of course, they receive funding to aid them in their endeavors.
