Three students

At each of the three Commencement ceremonies from Dec. 18–19, a student speaker will share their own experiences and achievements as a mirror for those of their entire class. Watch the videos below to meet the three 2019 Winter Commencement speakers.

David Bauer | College of Liberal Arts

David Bauer, a Parkville, Maryland, native, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in history in August 2019. A Dean's list member for every semester, the Air Force veteran is currently pursuing a master's degree in global humanities at TU and hopes to work in the public history, historical preservation or in historical research. Bauer will give his remarks at the College of Liberal Arts/Fisher College of Mathematics and Science ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 10 a.m.


 

Noah Pierre | College of Fine Arts and Communication

Noah Pierre is graduating with a degree in jazz commercial performance with a focus on guitar. A musician since the age of three, Pierre moved to Maryland from New Jersey as a teenager and eventually settled in Aberdeen. Pierre has already put his experience into practice in the Towson-area music scene. Pierre will speak at the College of Fine Arts and Communication/College of Education ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 3 p.m.


 

Grayson Osborn | College of Business and Economics

Grayson Osborn is graduating with dual degrees in business administration and mass communication. Active in his fraternity Chi Phi, he also participated in the Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society. He interned at Stanley Black & Decker and hopes to work there fulltime after graduation. Osborn will share his remarks at the College of Business and Economics/College of Health Professions ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m.
