In a 2019 TU Magazine profile, Richardson was celebrated by one of her players, Ryan Holder. Holder said the coach was a strong example for all young women.
“She’s a woman who is not just a coach, but also there for you when you need her,” Holder says. “You can talk with her about life situations. You can bring it to her and she’s got advice beyond just basketball and the court.”
TU alumni also honored in the top 100 women ceremony, include M&T Realty Capital Corporation's Christine Chandler '99, Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler, LLC's Tracy Steedman '00 and Harford Mutual Insurance Company's Geneau Thames '99
