This visually immersive experience will present large and small ensembles, solo and chamber music, jazz, and works by student composers all centered around wind instruments. This fast-paced concert lasts 75 minutes without intermission.

The TU Symphony Orchestra and esteemed guests, Towson University President Mark Ginsberg and Provost Melanie Perreault, proudly present an extraordinary interdisciplinary event celebrating the American experience through music, art, dance, theatre, film, and visual storytelling. Featuring two powerful compositions—Peter Boyer’s Ellis Island: The Dream of America and Wordsmith’s Made in America—this performance brings together students and faculty from across the arts in a vibrant collaboration.

Associate Professor of Jazz/Commercial Music, Saxophone, and Composition, Jason Rigby presents a special lecture-recital showcasing the original work completed during his sabbatical in Spring 2025. The featured project culminated in the release of Mayhem (Aug. 2025, Endectomorph Music), a collection of entirely original compositions and improvisations designed for audiophile-quality vinyl and worldwide digital streaming. In addition to selections from Mayhem, this lecture-recital will include performances from a sister recording—produced during the same sessions—that is slated for release in conjunction with this TU event, again on Endectomorph Music. Rigby will be joined in performance by Grammy-winning drummer Mark Guiliana and bassist Chris Morrissey.

Directed by Katie O. Solomon. Two sisters and a dog live out their lives on the bleak English moors, dreaming of love and power. The arrival of a hapless governess and a moor-hen set all three on a strange and dangerous path. The Moors is a dark comedy about love, desperation, and visibility.

Explore the remarkable artistic journey and cultural legacy of Lain Singh Bangdel (1919–2002), widely regarded as the “Father of Modern Art” in Nepal. This collection of paintings—spanning the 1940s to the 1990s— reflects and reframes the cultural, political, and emotional realities of Bangdel’s time and traces his evolving vision as he navigated multiple worlds: colonial and postcolonial South Asia, cosmopolitan Europe, and an emerging modern Nepal.

Cook’s sculptures and drawings investigate recent scientific research indicating positive
correlations between spending time in nature and well-being, primarily through a sustainable
practice incorporating fallen trees, invasive species, and plant waste to express
his ideas. Rob's mission is to inspire attendees to interact with nature and to take
a hike.

Miller explores the beauty, joy and complexities in parenting a child with a disability while working in collaboration with her daughter who has Down syndrome. "To Whom It May Concern" is an ongoing conversation surrounding the impact of the history of institutionalizing individuals with an intellectual and developmental disability. This immersive installation dives deeper into educational policy, practices, and experiences with audio interviews from teachers, parents and former students that have a disability.
