Visions of Place is the first major exhibition of contemporary Israeli art in ten years. The opening reception is Feb. 4, 2016 from 7:30 -9 p.m. in TU's Center for the Arts. The exhibition features 52 works by 36 artist including many of the leading artist in Israel today.
It was a great day for the whole family at TU Center for the Arts! The event featured Cambodian jewelry making with artist Sochietah Ung, a dance performance by the students of Cambodian American Heritage, Inc. and animation workshops.
TU art students working under the direction of the Community Art Center created a community project where visitors can engage with Spirit House by New Orleans artist Willie Birch. Brooke is a future art educator, passionate outdoors woman and artist at heart. She will be graduating from TU in May 2016 with a double major in Art Ed & General Fine Arts and a minor in Art History. She is thrilled to have had the opportunity to unite art and the community working with the CAC on the Spirit House | Revisited project at the Delaware Center for Contemporary Art.
