Madeleine Larrimore

Biography

Madeleine Larrimore, a Baltimore native, is a passionate educator and experienced musician. She earned her B.S. in Vocal Music Education from Towson University in 2017, and earned her M.M. in Music Education from Longy School of Music at Bard College in 2023. She is an accomplished educator, with 6 years of experience teaching high school chorus and piano, as well as 2 years directing an adult barbershop chorus, Parkside Melody. Madeleine has presented sessions at the Pennsylvania American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Summer Conference, and has served as Music Education Faculty at the Mid Atlantic District of the Barbershop Harmony Society’s summer professional development program Harmony College East. In addition, Madeleine sings professionally with the Schola Cantorum at the Baltimore Basilica. She believes that shared music making experiences can serve as a bridge between cultures to foster understanding and acceptance, and believes in the inherent ability of all people to participate in the music making process.
