Team Building
Campus Recreation offers a number of programs to help organizations at TU and in the greater Towson community improve their group dynamics and organizational success. We work directly with each group to develop a customized program curriculum to meet the needs of their organization and individual members.
Challenge Course
The Challenge Course, located in the Glen Arboretum in the heart of TU’s campus, provides
an opportunity to customize your group’s learning. Our facilitators lead and debrief
activities to help your group build positive relationships and improve on skills including
teamwork, communication, planning, problem solving, decision-making, and leadership.
Indoor programs are also available within Campus Recreation facilities or at an
on-campus location of the organization's choice.
Climbing Wall
The Climbing Wall, located in the Outdoor Adventure Center, provides a unique team-bonding
activity. Regardless of rock climbing experience, group members will experience a
new challenge in a fun and supportive environment. We will custom design a group’s
program to incorporate instruction, climbing games, or debriefing activities based
on your needs.
Custom Outdoor Trip
A Custom Outdoor Trip is a great choice for groups looking to spend a full-day or
weekend together. With activities including hiking, camping, rock climbing, and stand
up paddle boarding, we’ll help you select the best option to meet your group’s needs.
Our Outdoor Trip Leaders can also incorporate teambuilding activities, outdoor skills
lessons, or reflection activities based on what your group wants out of their experience.
