Training
Is your workplace, community center, class, or group interested in learning more about autism in adulthood? The Hussman Center for Adults with Autism has staff and faculty with unique vantage points into adult autism. Staff and faculty are available for presentations at conferences, trainings, and other venues to share their knowledge of adult autism. The faculty and staff work alongside the autistic adults as they self-advocate about their experiences.
The Autism Hiring Program also provides trainings for employers and employees about hiring and working alongside Neurodiverse individuals in the workplace. Please contact Kimberly Hubscher at Khubscher AT_TOWSON for inquiries about employer supports via the Autism Hiring Program.
Customized training, workshops, guest expert appearances and other speaking engagements can be arranged by contacting our office at 410-704-4486 or by emailing us at hcaa AT_TOWSON.
Recent trainings include talking with College of Business and Economics faculty about supporting neurodiverse learners and talking with families of autistic individuals in the Baltimore County Public School system about opportunities for autistic adults.
