Tigers top Hopkins in big win to start men's lacrosse season

The Tigers men's lacrosse team used a dominating 17-8 win against Johns Hopkins Saturday to jump-start the 2019 season in a big way.

Wearing throwback uniforms, the Tigers dominated face-offs, won more ground balls and took more shots than the Blue Jays. TU topped seventh-ranked JHU for the third consecutive time at Johnny Unitas Stadium.

The Tigers visit Mount St. Mary's Friday and Georgetown on Feb. 23 before returning home for another North Baltimore rivalry game with Loyola on Feb. 27 at Johnny Unitas Stadium.
