University Union

The University Union is the hub of co-curricular activities and programs for the campus, as well as home to a multitude of student services. In the Union, students, faculty, staff and alumni can relax, interact, and share common interests and experiences.

The University Union is replete with banquet and multipurpose rooms available for your events and meetings. Students will find a number of nooks and crannies for contemplation and conversation.

First Floor

  • Auxiliary Services Business OfficeProvides service and support for all OneCard-related services and payments, as well as the ticket office, vending machines, recreational sports registration, fitness/health registration and conference housing registration. From purchasing discounted MTA bus passes to buying a parking permit or paying a citation.

  • Patuxent Lounge: Patuxent features Cilantro Tex Mex, Field Greens made-to-order salads, Pasta Bar, Grille with signature sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and gourmet grilled cheeses. Ptux also features a Fit Foods Bar and a salad/fruit/yogurt bar.

  • Potomac Lounge: Event venue with an occupancy of 286 banquet style (with a stage) or 400 reception. Features include a parquet dance floor, carpeting, fireplace, and a baby grand piano.

  • Student Activities: Join Student Activities for events throughout the year, including weekend activities, leadership workshops and conferences, community service projects, commuter student programming, campus-wide signature events, and more.

  • Student Government Association (SGA): The Student Government Association serves as a resource for undergraduate students, by acting as an advocacy body by appointing student representatives to sit on university committees and meetings with administrators to ensure the students have a voice in the university decision making process.

  • Susquehanna Food Court: This large food court offers a variety of different cuisine.   • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Student Development: The LGBT Student Development Program hosts various events throughout the year designed to promote visibility of LGBTQ students, educate the campus about issues affecting this community, and instill a sense of belonging and pride amongst LGBTQ students here at TU!

  • Queer Student Union: The Queer Student Union of Towson University is a driving force on campus and in the local area for awareness, activism, community, education, and student support.   • Students Achieve Goals through Education (SAGE): The SAGE program is one component of Towson University's cultural diversity and student retention plan.
