Leading with Resilience: Strategies for Sustainable Impact for Nonprofits

Discover skills to strengthen resilience to create lasting impacts on nonprofits.

Nonprofit leadership has always required a lot. Right now, it’s requiring more than ever. Between staffing challenges, funding uncertainty and growing expectations from boards, funders and communities, many leaders feel like the only way to keep up is to carry more. Over time, that approach becomes unsustainable.

This full-day, interactive workshop — open to nonprofit leaders at the director level and above — is designed to help you lead with resilience, so you can strengthen your impact without sacrificing your energy, your team or your long-term sustainability.

In a collaborative setting with peers, you’ll step back from the day-to-day demands of your role and focus on what will make leadership feel more manageable, and more effective.

Upcoming Offering:  May 28, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

Facilitated by Kim Fabian, this workshop draws on her experience as a former nonprofit executive, board chair, grantmaker and consultant to organizations across the Southeast. She brings a practical, real-world perspective on what it takes to lead through complexity without burning out.

The day includes a panel discussion with nonprofit leaders sharing how they’ve built strong, effective partnerships between executives and boards. You’ll learn practical insights to create clarity between governance and operations, build trust and alignment in the boardroom, and support leader and team resilience through stronger board engagement.
