Why I work in Admissions.
I’ve always enjoyed people or student-centered roles. Working in Admissions allows
me a unique opportunity to support and foster relationships with people from diverse
backgrounds with equally diverse experiences.
What I love most about my job.
I truly love working with my unique student population. I have a sweet spot for community
college students, as this is where I first entered the field of higher education.
I enjoy supporting students to help them see what they can truly achieve.
My student experiences helped prepare me for my job.
I am not too surprised that I ended up in higher education. While in college, I was
a resident assistant for most of my college experience or working as a summer orientation
leader.
