COVID-19 Vaccination

Information for the TU community about COVID-19 vaccination requirements.

Verify Your Vaccination

As part of University System of Maryland requirements, all Towson University students, faculty and staff on campus this fall must be vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to the start of the fall 2021 term. Individuals should be fully vaccinated, including any vaccine-specific waiting period following a vaccination, by August 9, 2021. Complete the form below to provide proof of vaccination.

Use this form to submit documentation of your COVID vaccination.

Verify your vaccination (login)

If you’ve misplaced your vaccination records, you can use the Maryland immunization information system website to view and print a copy.

Additionally, TU has partnered with Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (CRISP) to potentially access COVID-19 test and vaccination information, if available, for individuals who received a vaccine in Maryland and signed this waiver (TU login required). Note: Signing the waiver does not guarantee vaccination information will be accessible.

TU holds weekly prize drawings for vaccinated Tigers

To support the COVID-19 vaccination effort on campus, TU is announcing weekly giveaways for all fully vaccinated and verified students, faculty and staff, and anyone with an approved vaccine exemption. Winners will be randomly drawn every Thursday morning beginning June 17 through July 29. All verified or exempt students, faculty and staff are automatically entered. The sooner you are fully vaccinated and verified the more chances you have to win. Read more.

Vaccine Exemptions

Medical and religious exemptions will be considered. Request an exemption using an online form and submission process. Exemption requests can take up to 10 business days to review once received.

Vaccine Registration

We encourage all members of the TU community to register for the vaccine through the Baltimore County Health Department, the state of Maryland, or local health department.

At this time, individuals who have received a vaccine and are approved to be on campus will still need to comply with all university testing and symptom tracking requirements. TU faculty and staff may utilize administrative leave in order to receive the vaccine.

Ongoing Updates

We will continue to promptly communicate any vaccine information in addition to any changes in campus protocols.
