The Bridges to the Baccalaureate program aims to change the face of the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) workforce by supporting underrepresented minority students as they complete their associates degree and transfer to a four-year institution to earn their Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field.
Students participate in a research skills course in the Spring semester and a paid research internship in a TU lab during the summer.
Students may continue to work in their TU lab while they complete their associate’s degree and after they transfer to TU.
