A film producer in Los Angeles, Levin has just wrapped his first feature film, Flock of Dudes. The film, about a thirty-year-old man-child who has decided to break-up with his friends after a series of unfortunate events, opened in theatres nationwide and online at Amazon/itunes/On Demand on Friday, Sept. 30.

The film marks the silver-screen debut for Levin and fellow TU alum Bob Castrone, who directed and co-wrote the film. Levin chose Towson University because of the fundamental classes offered.

“Here I could develop the strong skill set I was already gravitating towards," Levin said. "I was able to develop the skill set as a writer and producer. I took writing and production courses to hone and polish a specific skill set in related classes.”

Levin and Castrone have collaborated on several online comedy shows and TV series together, collaboration which eventually led them to the heart of the film industry in Los Angeles.

“So many relationships and resources are available (to you) on campus to use in your education, career, or (to) help develop friendships,” Levin said of his Towson University experience. “This is the place to do all of that.

"Take advantage of what is available to you, create the friendships to mold your skills, use the tools you learn, and hone your skills for future endeavors," he added.

The film stars Hannah Simone of “New Girl” and Chris D’Elia of NBC’s “Whitney.” Other well-known cast members include Ray Liotta, Mario Lopez, Hilary Duff, Bryan Greenberg of the comedy “Friends with Benefits,” Hannibal Buress, Marc Maron and stand-up comedian Jeff Ross, who frequently appears on Comedy Central.
